Dr. Charlene Coelho - Chiropractor
B.Sc (Chiro), B.Chiro

Originally from Scotland, I’ve spent most of my life here in Perth. I’ve been a chiropractor for 14 years. I’ve worked in the Pilbara and Wheatbelt, providing chiropractic care to everyone from newborns, to the elderly, farmers, to miners. I’ve also worked in a city practice where my main focus was sports injuries and rehab. Wherever I’ve worked, and whatever the focus of practice, my greatest joy is always playing a role in empowering people to understand their body, and how it can reach it’s full potential.

I like to live outside of my comfort zone and never shy away from a challenge. In recent years, I’ve competed in CrossFit, bodybuilding and skydiving competitions and participated in the Rottnest swim. I love testing the bounds of my capability. This is why I love chiropractic so much - in treating injuries and helping people meet their health goals, a new capacity for experience is unlocked.

I live with my partner Paulo, our son Jude, and my beautiful step kids, Kai and Jaimi.

Dr. Jean-Paul “JP” Nunis - Chiropractor
B.Sc (Chiro), B.Chiro

Dr. Nunis enjoys treating patients of all walks of life, but has a very keen interest in sports chiropractic and athletic performance and has volunteered at many Sports Chiropractic Australia events.

As an AFL player and enthusiast Dr. Nunis understands the importance of making sure the body is performing at its best. If he is not cheering the Fremantle Dockers on during the AFL season, he likes to get out and for a surf, fish or a game of golf. Dr. Nunis has a keen interest in music and learnt both the piano and electric guitar at the age of 5. He loves playing the guitar in his down time when he is not in practice.

Dr. Nunis very excited to meet you and to help you achieve your musculoskeletal health goals.

Dr. Sarah Pelletier - Chiropractor
B.Sc (Chiro), B.Chiro

Originally from Canada, I always lived by strong wellness principles that were passed down from family. These ideals stimulated my own investigation into natural medicine, fitness and nutrition while being employed in a successful career in commercial property development. As a result, I entered my chiropractic career.

While completing chiropractic studies at Murdoch University, I also worked part time teaching biomedical physiology labs to second year students.  I have found myself serving the community in achieving musculoskeletal health goals with a focus on families. I have a special interest in family care, including paediatric and pregnancy care, as well as a continued interest in sports injuries, fitness training, and nutrition.

I plan to concentrate my efforts of chiropractic care in cranial work and eventually in animal biomechanical medicine, whilst keeping up to date with research in the chiropractic and physiology arenas. I believe that our understanding of neurophysiology is crucial in providing the most informed chiropractic care to our patients, and to fostering a better understanding of chiropractic as a health profession.

I have been in Perth for 11 years now, and living in a place that's ethos is based around an active outdoor lifestyle, my connection to community and the quality of life experienced by its members has never been more of a focus and passion for me. I intend to facilitate community health with a standard of excellence in mind whilst balancing my home life with my partner Luke, two kids Noa and Oliver, and our two fur babies – Hunter our Labrador X, and Teddy our Beaglier.

Dr. Lichia Cheong - Chiropractor

I had always dreamt I would be the first person to discover the cure for cancer and I began my tertiary studies completing a Biomedical Science Degree at UWA. During the last semester of my final year, whilst struggling through 12-hour lab sessions, I felt that surely there would be better ways to promote good health and from here discovered my real passion; to promote healthy lifestyles through education and preventative approaches.

During my 5 years at Murdoch University pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Chiropractic and Bachelor of Chiropractic, I discovered that chiropractic was a unique therapy that approached healthcare in a non-invasive, drug-free and non-surgical way. Chiropractors work with the musculoskeletal system to assist in the way it functions. Today, I love nothing more than to help clients discover chiropractic care.

Being able to help someone with their musculoskeletal health and see them accomplish things they never thought they would be able to do has been the greatest part of this journey. I am grateful that my profession has allowed me the opportunity to work with people of all ages and walks of life.  This variety in practice members allows us to make the most of our varied specific chiropractic techniques we use in our clinic.

In 2007, I travelled to Siliguri, India with a group of chiropractors to provide care to the local communities. Our aim was to set up field clinics to provide basic medical supplies and chiropractic care to the families in the surrounding villages. Upon my return, I felt that as a chiropractor, it was not only my duty but my goal to educate my own community about the importance of spinal health.

I have grown up and lived in Perth all my life and currently reside in Ardross with my husband William, sons Oliver and Levi and puppy – Ronny. I love Perth and truly value the active and healthy lifestyle that it has to offer. I am a passionate Dockers supporter and have always liked to keep fit. I've been playing netball for as long as I can remember, and participate in boxing classes and group personal training.

Becoming a Chiropractic Assistant has been a new and exciting chapter for me. After moving to Australia from the UK, I searched to find a new career that would allow me to be surrounded by people that share my desire to live the best life possible and get the most out of every day. Baldivis Chiropractic is the environment I was searching for and I love being surrounded by like-minded people who value health and well-being as I do.
